Description

Create a vibrant and colorful suncatcher garland using fallen leaves to celebrate the beauty of autumn.

Materials

  • Wax paper
  • Colorful fallen leaves (real or faux)
  • Mod Podge or liquid glue
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • String or fishing line
  • Hole punch (optional)
  • Ribbon (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the workspace by covering the table with newspaper or a plastic sheet.
  2. Arrange the colorful leaves on a piece of wax paper to design your suncatcher.
  3. Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge or glue over the arranged leaves.
  4. Layer another sheet of wax paper over the leaves and press gently.
  5. Cut out the leaves and surrounding wax paper into desired shapes once dry.
  6. String the leaves by threading a length of string through the punched holes.
  7. Add ribbons along the garland for extra decoration if desired.

Notes

Ensure leaves are not too dry before starting and allow the glue to dry completely before cutting.
