Everything on this website is published for general information and enjoyment. It is not professional advice. We share projects we believe are worth making, written as clearly as we can, but you are the person best placed to judge whether a project suits your household, your materials and the people making it with you.
Results will vary
Craft materials, brands, tools, drying times, weather, work surfaces and skill levels all differ. Two people can follow the same instructions and get two different results. Photographs on this site show how a project turned out for us, not a promise of how it will turn out for you.
Safety
Depending on the project, you may be working with:
- scissors and craft knives
- hot glue and other adhesives
- heat, ovens or candles
- small parts that can be swallowed
- paints, sealants, dyes and varnishes
- solvents, adhesive removers and other craft chemicals
- glass, wire and hand tools
- materials gathered outdoors, including plants, seeds and berries
You are responsible for reading and following the safety information supplied by the manufacturer of every product you use, for working in a suitable space, and for deciding whether a project is appropriate for you and for anyone helping you. Craft Wonder DIY accepts no liability for injury, damage or loss arising from any project on this site.
Children
Our projects are written for adults. If children are helping with a project, please look at it yourself first, decide whether it is suitable for them, adapt it as needed, and supervise them throughout, particularly around heat, blades, small parts and craft chemicals.
Allergies and sensitivities
Paints, glues, sealants, essential oils, dried botanicals, foods used as craft materials and outdoor finds can all cause allergic or irritant reactions in some people. Check labels and material information before you start, and stop if anyone reacts to something.
