Description

Create a charming autumn luminary using colorful leaves and a mason jar, perfect for adding warmth to your home during the fall season.

Materials

  • Mason jar (any size)
  • Colorful autumn leaves (real or faux)
  • Mod Podge or clear-drying craft glue
  • Paintbrush
  • Small candle (tea light or votive)
  • Scissors (optional, for trimming leaves)
  • Ribbon or twine (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mason jar by cleaning it thoroughly.
  2. Arrange the leaves around the jar to determine their placement.
  3. Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to a small section of the jar, then place the first leaf.
  4. Continue layering leaves in an overlapping fashion.
  5. Seal the leaves with a final layer of Mod Podge and allow to dry completely.
  6. Add the candle inside the jar.

Notes

Dry-fit the leaves before gluing for the best design. Allow Mod Podge layers to dry completely.
