Description

A delightful and whimsical Halloween decor project that transforms windows into colorful displays with charming ghost shapes.

Materials

  • Colorful tissue paper (various hues)
  • Black construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or craft glue
  • String or twine for hanging
  • Hole puncher
  • Optional: beads or sequins for embellishment

Instructions

  1. Create your ghost shapes by drawing outlines on black construction paper and cutting them out.
  2. Cut the tissue paper into pieces slightly larger than the ghost outlines.
  3. Assemble the ghosts by applying glue to one side of each black shape, pressing the tissue paper on top, and allowing it to dry.
  4. Punch holes at the top of each ghost for stringing.
  5. String the ghosts using twine, spacing them out as desired.
  6. Hang your garland in a chosen location and enjoy your handmade decor!

Notes

For a dimensional look, layer multiple pieces of tissue paper. Store the garland in tissue paper to avoid creasing.
